Steel Panther Brings the Party to Stage AE
In the heyday of the glam metal scene the mantra was “sex, drugs and rock n’roll.” Steel Panther brought all that and more May 28th when they returned to Stage AE in Pittsburgh in support of their latest release, All You Can Eat.
From the opening chords of Pussy Whipped the audience was hooked. What followed was almost 2 hours of non-stop fun and entertainment. One of the best things about a Steel Panther concert (aside from the catchy music and raunchy lyrics) is the stage banter between the members and the interactions with the crowd.
The band played all their hits and the audience ate up every moment. Songs like Asian Hooker, Turn Out the Lights and Death to All but Metal are pure metal anthems. When it came time for 17 Girls in a Row the party went from the crowd to the stage as girls from the audience made their way to party with the band, dance and flash the crowd….(as you can guess a Steel Panther concert is not a show for minors.)
Closing out the show was fan favorites Community Property which the audience took over singing and the party anthem Party all Day.
Besides putting on a hell of a show and sending up the 80’s metal lifestyle in pure comedic fashion, the members of Steel Panther..Michael Starr, Satchel, Lexxi Foxx and Stix Zadinia are all extremely talented musicians. Steel Panther is definitely a show that should never be missed.
