– Doyle Wolfgang von Frankenstein, the legendary guitarist of the Misfits is out on the road with his band Doyle supporting their 2013 release “Abominator.” Doyle joined the Misfits when he was 16 and he has been going steady ever since. His newest band leans more toward metal than punk, but the imagery and themes that made him famous are still there.

When Doyle hits the stage, it is with a fury that grabs hold of the audience and doesn’t let go. His commanding presence is captivating and fun to watch. Alex Story is a great front man and sings the songs with a lot of passion. Playing all the songs from “Abominator” with several Misfits songs throughout, the band never let up and neither did the crowd.

Doyle has a few more headlining shows left before they team up with Mushroomhead. If you get the chance to catch any of the shows, you will not be disappointed.
