The Imagine Dragons from Las Vegas have no shortage of radio-friendly hits that have ruled the pop charts over the last several years. But too few bands you hear on the radio are able to string together enough these days or have the musicianship to pull off a full-blown arena show. The band packed 15,000 fans into Toronto’s Air Canada Centre and brought their A-game. The highlight of the show might have been ironically something in between the songs. Singer, Dan Reynolds, sat down between songs and took the opportunity for a genuine thank-you to the fans and to express their appreciation. It was not your typical “Thank you, good night” or “We love you …fill in the blank”. He seemed honestly humbled and in awe of the audience. It was refreshing. There were no shortage of hit songs and even for someone who was not a fan per-say the set was full of songs that you couldn’t help but be familiar with. Also the band sprinkled in an impressive cover of Alphaville’s “Forever Young”
