In Episode 561 of the Iron City Rocks Podcast we welcome Greg T. Walker (Blackfood, Lynyrd Skynyrd) to talk about his collaboration with guitarist Lance Lopez, Two Wolf. The band has released their self-titled debut album on Cleopatra records earlier this year. Greg talks with us about how he came to work with Lance, choosing the Blackfoot tracks to be included on the album, writing new material that flowed with the classics, his time with Lynyrd Skynyrd and so much more.
We are then joined by Junior Bourcier of Canada’s Atomik Train. The band’s debut album will be available in September (pre-order). Junior talks about his collaboration with singer François Babin, working with producer John Webster and their plans for touring to support the album.
At last, but not least we are joined by the musical director and guitarist of Parker Barrow, Alex Bender. Alex describes how the band came together in 2023 and how the material on their forthcoming EP has resulted from two years and many, many shows. Parker Barrow will be at Club Cafe in Pittsburgh on September 15th (tickets).
