Hollywood Undead, Crown the Empire and I Prevail performed to a near capacity crowd this past Sunday at Stage AE and it was an intense evening of some great and varies music.
I Prevail opened the show with drummer Lee Runestad playing along with the “Summer Overture” from the Requiem for a Dream Soundtrack and the burst into “Love, Lust and Liars” off of their debut EP Heart vs. Mind. From there vocalists Eric Vanlerberghe and Brian Burkheiser led a a killer set that of course included their great cover of Taylor Swift’s “Blank Space”
Crown the Empire came out next with a rousing rendition of “Phoenix Reborn” They continued to get the crowd warmed up for the main event with a killer set.
Hollywood Undead hit the stage with their trademark masks and kicked off their set with the song “Usual Suspects” off of their latest release Day of the Dead. The band played a set that consisted of tracks off their whole catalog and even through in a few covers notably “Folsom Prison Blues” by Johnny Cash before ending their set with “Everywhere I Go” and “Hear Me Now.”
Three very different bands all put on an intense show and if you get a chance to check out this tour you will be in for a good time.
