KISS brought their 2016 Freedom to Rock tour to Youngstown, OH’s Covelli Centre on Friday night and played before a packed house. Their first time in Youngstown since the 70’s, KISS was back with a vengeance. From the opening bell of “Detroit Rock City” to the TKO of “Rock and Roll All Nite” KISS worked the audience like a seasoned prize fighter. The signature moves were all there. There was fire breathing, flying over the crowd, guitars shooting fireworks, and spitting blood. But the setlist include a few choice cuts to keep the KISS-maniacs entertained and the hits that the new fans demanded. KISS appeared to be at home in an arena which instead of the large outdoor sheds that have toured the last few summers.
