Mick Fleetwood & Friends Celebrate the Music of Peter Green and the Early Years of Fleetwood Mac

Just seeing Mick Fleetwood and his band playing the masterful work of Peter Green and the early Fleetwood Mac catalog alone would be enough to make this a special event. Throw in names like Billy Gibbons, David Gilmour, Kirk Hammet, Jonny Lang, John Mayall, Pete Townsend, Christine McVie, Bill Wyman and Steven Tyler and you have a magical event. February 25, 2020 at the London Palladium was indeed a magical night. On April 24, 2021 the film will debut for streaming and then later be released on April 30, 2021 in physical formats (hardbound book, Gatefold 4LP, 2CD/Blu-Ray mediabook, 2CD Digipack, and Digital audio).

Of particular note to Fleetwood Mac fans is the inclusion of Rick Vito who stepped in in 1987 replacing Lindsey Buckingham until 1991. He has played off an on again with Mick Fleetwood over the years. What is wonderful is that even though Fleetwood Mac went on to enjoy mammoth chart success working with Lindsey and Stevie Nicks, Mick has never shied away from preserving the legacy of the music they made with the incomparable Peter Green. As the world lost Peter in 2020 along with so many other great musicians, the legacy of his work still carries on.
