The Fell – Crafthouse Stage & Grill – 3/26/2026

Photos and Review by David Kasiorek

It was a stormy Thursday night in Pittsburgh with tornado warnings abroad, but the true tornado took the stage at The Crafthouse, welcoming The Fell ft. Billy Sheehan to rock the house. The Fell just released their debut EP titled “Killswitch” in 2025 and consists of Toby Rand on vocals (he was a contestant on Rockstar: Supernova back in the day, great show!), Mike Krompass on guitar, Nick Chiarore on drums and the legendary bassist, Billy Sheehan. Whether it was the soaring vocals, ripping riffs, cool drum fills, and masterful bass licks The Fell surely brought the energy. Their musical style is in the more modern realm but there is a lot of 80s style mixed within and the progressive moments that we would expect from a Billy Sheehan project as well. Between the set there was moments of instrumental tangents where Billy and Mike would harmonize with bass and guitar but the focus was on the original tunes. Playing songs like “Killswitch”, “Face Out”, “Trippin” and “Footprints” which can all be found on their EP as well as more rocking originals and later adding a fun cover of David Lee Roth’s “Elephant Gun”. There is a lot to like about the music The Fell is putting out there and it’s even better live. If you get a chance to catch them out on tour, check them out! They will rock the house wherever they go.
