– Monday night saw Buckcherry return to Pittsburgh’s Stage AE. Although the crowd was on the smaller side it was an evening of great straight up rock-n-roll.
Starting things off was Pittsburgh’s own Torn and Frayed. These guys have been rocking Pittsburgh for a long time and it was great to see them on a big stage.
Full Devil Jacket tore up the place next. These guys are a lot of fun to watch. After taking a 15 year hiatus they released a new album early last year and having been out on a few tours. Josh Brown is an intense vocalist and a lot of fun to watch.
Saving Abel took the stage next and played an inspired set. Scotty Austin is a great frontman and really knows how to work an audience.
Buckcherry closed the night out with a set that contained a bunch of their classics as well as Songs from their new album Rock-N-Roll. Starting out with “Lit Up” the band pulled out all the bunches. Pittsburgh native Keith Nelson and co-guitarist Stevie D. really play well together and Josh Todd is a solid performer. All four bands were fun to watch and put on a fun show.
